Where? |
WSVN works closely alongside with other non-profit organizations such as Viet Dreams, Cambodian Child's Dream Organization and Lao Rehabilitation Foundation and our local government to achieve the goals we've mentioned above. We're located in Viet Nam but our work spread to our neighboring countries: Cambodia and Laos. We travel to Vinh Long, Tay Nguyen and other small villages in central Vietnam every month. We also go to small rural villages along the Mekong Delta in Laos and Cambodia every other month.

Why? |
Right now in Viet Nam, many people are facing threats regarding to water. Many families are under harsh effects due to the lack of clean water to use for their daily life. Mothers and children in the countryside have to walk for a very long way just to get a small amount of water and even then, it’s not enough water. This reduces the time they can spend on providing an income and taking care of their family. Not to mention that often times, the water they collect is not clean and therefore causes sickness, becoming the reason for many deaths in the countryside. Our organization help provide access to clean water nearby to these people, increase their income and provide a healthy environment for their children. In WSVN, we do not focus on providing temporary solutions but instead work towards long terms solutions to provide clean water for the people in need.
